The American Legion Kerr-Lewis Scholarship

     Through the efforts of several American Legion Legacy endowments from both the Kerr and Lewis families and continual support of the members of Post 315, I am very proud to announce the Kerr-Lewis Scholarship for 2023. We would like to award four (4) $1000 Scholarships this year. Below you will see to download buttons that will let you see both the application and information sheet. 

      In the past we have had candidates write a short essay on Americanism but this year we have switched it up a little and replaced the essay with a Veteran interview and essay about what the candidate may have learned after talking to the Veteran. Please, do not get nervous on the interview!!!  Just come on in like you are going to talk to an old friend, and you will do well. Recorders are allowed to make it easier on the candidate. I expect to see a record amount of applications this year so get yours in early!!
