Hello American Legion Auxiliary,
We have had an amazing 2023 year at the post! This is only possible because of the dedication of the volunteers and the support of the membership. Looking forward to what 2024 has in store for us!
Our annual Legion Christmas Party is December 2 @ 6PM. Tickets are only $20 per person. Act III Band will be here 7-11PM… so put on those dancing shoes & come enjoy the night!
Just a reminder if you have not paid your 2024 dues, they are due now. Annual fee is $35. You may drop them off at the post or mail to PO Box 302, Brooklyn, MI 49230. Attention Lori Booth/Auxiliary.
Our Auxiliary meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month. January is the only month we do not have a meeting. If you would like to get involved our meetings are a great way to find out what is going on to get signed up.
We would like to tell all of our membership, “Thank you” for the continued support that has allowed us to provide new chairs, barstool, and update the lady’s bathroom. Without all of you, all of these updates would not be possible.

As a member reminder, dues need to be paid August 1 – December 31 for the following year. A reminder will be sent to you from National each year. You may mail your payments and your card will be sent to you within a week or two of payment. If you pay online your card will be mailed directly from National.
Our Annual Cash Bash is being held Saturday, May 14th and our Annual Golf Outing is Saturday, August 20th. If you would like to participate or volunteer please contact an Auxiliary Board Member. We are looking for Hole Sponsors for our golf outing. The donation is $100. If you know of anyone or business that would like to sponsor a hole please contact me.
Our meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the American Legion Post 315 in Brooklyn. Everyone is encouraged to attend our meetings to stay informed on upcoming events. Also your participation is greatly appreciated to volunteer for the Friday dinners, which are held the 2nd & 4th Friday of each month, and provide desserts for the dinners and for funerals. Please contact one of the officers listed below if you wish to volunteer at any time for dinners or activities taking place at the Legion.
